About WorkAid
WorkAid places Filipino accounting professionals with Australian accounting practices. WorkAid’s Philippine company is your employer, so your pay, government contributions and HMO come from us. Day to day, you work with one Australian practice, from your own home.
About the job
You’ll keep money moving for the clients of one Australian accounting practice: supplier bills in, customer invoices out, and polite, firm follow-up on what’s overdue.
What you’ll do
- Capture and code supplier bills and route them for approval
- Prepare payment batches for approval and reconcile supplier statements
- Send customer invoices and statements, and allocate receipts
- Follow up overdue accounts and keep aged reports current
- Handle supplier and customer queries through to a close
What you’ll need
- At least 2 years of AP, AR or both for Australian clients
- Daily use of Xero or MYOB
- Confident, polite written English with suppliers and customers
- The discipline to never release a payment without approval
- A quiet, private space at home and reliable internet
- Able to work Sydney business hours (see Schedule)
Nice to have
- Bill capture tools
- Both Xero and MYOB
- Experience inside an accounting practice
What you get
- A full-time job with a Philippine employer: a payslip, not an invoice
- Pay in pesos, twice a month, by bank transfer
- SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG, with WorkAid’s share paid
- HMO cover from your start date
- 13th month pay
- Paid leave and Philippine regular and special holidays
- A WorkAid laptop, set up before your first day
- No commute
